Many of my errors in my essay come from basic sentence structure. I often don’t know when to end a sentence and begin a new one, due to this, I often have to change the tense and punctuation of my sentences, which I often miss. Much of the grammar errors I make are due to trying to focus too much on the big idea, often I skip over the little details because I am trying to make sure my paper can work on a big picture scale, when it cannot function without effective sentence structure. One of the focuses on my next paper will be to try and iron out the big details of the essay in the early stages of rough drafts so that much of the final revisions are big picture focused. I want to improve the standard of my small revisions to the point that they are just as big of a part of my paper as the thesis.
